The Pro Shop
The Pro Shop is open daily for all your golfing needs. Members may reserve tee times one day prior to play. Tee times can be made at the Pro Shop or by phone, 732-657-8900. The Pro Shop will begin to take reservations 30 minutes prior to the opening of the golf course for the day.
The Pro Shop carries “logo” golfing apparel for both men and women golfers. In addition, the shop carries a selection of golf shoes, balls, tees, etc.
If the shop does not carry the exact item that you want, they will make an attempt to obtain it for you.

Introducing our Pro: Ed Walls
During the winter of 2016, appliedgolf, our Golf Management Company, and the Renaissance Golf Committee conducted a search for a new Golf Pro. Ed Walls was selected to be our Pro.
Ed comes to Renaissance Country Club from Toms River Country Club where he has served as the Head Golf Professional for the past eight seasons. Ed was responsible for all phases of the private golf operation and played an integral role in improving the level of member/guest satisfaction and tournament operations, and developed a vibrant instructional program for all levels of golfers. His teaching expertise was acknowledged in 2014 with a nomination for Teaching Professional of the Year for the New Jersey PGA section.
Prior to his position at Toms River Country Club, Ed held the position as First Assistant Golf Professional at Echo Lake Country Club, a private club in Westfield, New Jersey. In that capacity, Ed was responsible for all aspects of tournament operations, outing supervision, and daily golf shop management and preceding his time at Echo Lake, Ed was an Assistant Professional at Rock Spring Club, a private 18-hole facility in West Orange, New Jersey, where he worked for five years. Ed holds a BS in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and worked in the chemical industry for 12 years before pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a golf professional. Ed was inducted as a member of the PGA in 2001 and is a two-time scholarship winner from the Professional Golfers’ Association PGM program, a Titleist Staff member, and has been in the top 20 of the NJPGA Assistant’s Tournament Points list. Among his many golfing
achievements, he holds his round of 70 at the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland, among his most memorable.
Ed enjoys woodworking as a hobby and is an avid sports fan and has coached boys and girls basketball for many years. Ed lives in Lanoka Harbor, NJ with his wife, Andrea, who is the Marketing Director at Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge, NJ. They have two daughters, Ally and Stephanie, who both have successful careers.
